The series is based on the podcast of the same name, which tells of some researchers who catalog the video archive of a missing director. An archivist specializing in the recovery and restoration of old films and magnetic tapes accepts an unusual offer from a manager of a mysterious company to restore damaged videotapes in which he will discover documentary videos shot by a young PhD student in anthropology, Melody Pendras, who, in 1993, he decides to study the history of a building in the East Village known as "Visser", at the center of urban legends relating to the presence of dark events involving a satanic sect.
