Fifteen-year-old Assane Diop sees his life completely turned upside down after the death of his father, convicted of a crime he did not commit, which leads him to harbor an irrepressible desire for revenge and justice towards the rich family who accused him. Twenty-five years later Assane, who in the meantime supports himself by committing petty thefts, decides to carry it out by drawing inspiration from the novel Arsenio Lupine, the gentleman thief, given to him in his time by his father.
