The series follows a small Neo-Victorian town home to magical creatures who fled their war-torn homeland and have flocked to the city as tensions simmer between the townspeople and the growing immigrant population. At the center of the narrative is the investigation into a series of unsolved murders, which shake the presumed peace that had reigned until then.
