Steven Grant, shy and introverted Londoner passionate about Egyptology, discovers that he suffers from a dissociative identity disorder due to which he shares the body with the personality of Marc Spector, former mercenary who serves as Avatar the Egyptian moon god Khonshu; the two personalities are forced to collaborate and become aware of their past traumas as they try to stop Arthur Harrow, Avatar of the goddess Ammit, intent on awakening the divinity.
