Jacob Pearce, a former soldier of the French Foreign Legion, organizes a series of terrorist attacks in Paris to take revenge on the French government. The man, who had been sent on a mission in Afghanistan, was abandoned on the spot and captured by the Taliban with his team. After being tortured by the Taliban for several years and managing to escape, he had found a family in Pakistan, who however were killed during the explosion of Pierce's car. The attack, authorized by the President of the Republic, was aimed at killing Pearce himself.Pearce, during a party, disguises himself and kills the Minister of Defense Philippe Bardin. MI6 agent Zara Taylor is on site, who becomes involved in the investigations regarding the chain of murders organized by Pearce together with French secret service agent Vincent Taleb, who is having an affair with the President, who is also in Pearce's sights. In order to make her confess her involvement, he blackmails her with the threat of detonating an atomic bomb in the center of the city.

Sul luogo si trova l'agente dell'MI6 Zara Taylor, che viene coinvolta nelle indagini riguardanti la catena di omicidi organizzati da Pearce insieme all'agente dei servizi segreti francesi Vincent Taleb, il quale ha una relazione con la Presidente, anche essa nel mirino di Pearce che, pur di farle confessare il suo coinvolgimento, la ricatta con la minaccia di fare esplodere un'atomica nel centro della città.
