Many years have passed since the victory of Willow, Sorsha and Madmartigan against the witch Bavmorda. Madmartigan left the kingdom to go in search of an ancient artifact to be used against the forces of evil, leaving at court his wife Sorsha, their two children and in secret Elora Danan, chosen to save and reign over Tir Asleen, the saved child by Willow and Madmartigan in the original film.
