The series follows parents Dorothy and Sean Turner, who hire young nanny Leanne to care for a reborn doll, the only tool that helped bring Dorothy back from the catatonic state she fell into after the death of her son Jericho. Over time, however, while Dorothy herself is convinced that the doll is the real Jericho, Sean begins to suspect Leanne.
La serie segue i genitori Dorothy e Sean Turner, che assumono la giovane tata Leanne per accudire una bambola reborn, l'unico strumento che è servito a riportare Dorothy dallo stato catatonico in cui è caduta dopo la morte del figlio Jericho.
