After months spent on the ISS, German scientist Paula Groth and her colleague Hadi return to earth. Her husband Sven and daughter Charlie wait in vain for the woman's return: the airliner on which she returns to Germany, in fact, crashes. In the last radio communications from the pilot of the plane, Paula is heard bursting into the cockpit and appearing to babble nonsense, so much so that public opinion is convinced that she was the one who caused the accident. Remembering the recent times with his wife, Sven tries in every way to find an answer to the events.
